Twitter or not, most humans online have read or explored the Twitterverse, Tweetville, Tweeps, Twitterholics, Tweeters etc.

I'm a Twitter addict - I'm a social media and networking addict - My laptop and Blackberry keys have worn down to their springs.

There are two common types of Twitter'rs.

Micro-bloggers
Detail random bits of their life, random thoughts, opinions, social activities, and current media consumption.

Small Business/Private enterprise/SPAM
From real estate to law, photography to get rich quick schemes - Twitter is being used as a way to advertise for free.

This morning, I found a different type of Twitter. Public Domain meets Twitter.

The "creator" of the page is Danco http://twitter.com/danco

Mr. Danco has enough spare time and ambition to Tweet Moby Dick.

Not just the two words, Moby - Dick.

The entire freak'n book.

As I view it now, Danco has 8,748 posts, and an archive dating back to September 12, 2008.
That's exactly 320 pages into the past. Apparently Twitter stops its archive at 320 pages because
the Tweets begin in the middle of CHAPTER 26 Knights and Squires.

So much for starting with Call me Ishmael.

At 127 followers and 0 following, Mr Danco, AKA publicdomain must have a dedicated audience.
Only having 140 characters per Tweet, this project may just as well become an antique itself.

Compassion has never been my forte.

A couple years ago I watched a story about a blind boy who had bat-like skills.
Not a Bat-belt, Bat-mobile, Bat-copter, but actual bat skills. This kid developed
a keen sense of hearing and utilized echolocation by "clicking" his tongue.

This X-men kid lived in Elk Grove, just south of Sacramento. I say lived, because Ben Underwood died Monday, January 19th, 2008. As irony and life has it's way, Ben developed terminal cancer.

The amazing part of this story was his ability to interact and maneuver as a normal child that could see. He played video games, rode a bicycle, ran, and played as any normal sighted child.

With his gift, his ability and skill - it would have been even more amazing to see Ben Underwood age and develop into a grown adult.

Apparently when your child racks up a $1,000+ phone bill from hundreds of hours of phone calls, you deserve to be on the news. Oh and the kid sent 28,000 text messages too. Sounds like a great use of your day,week and month.

CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE 23123.5

( PROHIBITIED )
(a) A person shall not drive a motor vehicle while using
an electronic wireless communications device to write, send, or read
a text-based communication.
(stopped at a red light counts as "driving")

( CLARIFIED )
(b) As used in this section "write, send, or read a text-based
communication" means using an electronic wireless communications
device to manually communicate with any person using a text-based
communication, including, but not limited to, communications referred
to as a text message, instant message, or electronic mail.

( EXEMPTION )
(c) For purposes of this section, a person shall not be deemed to
be writing, reading, or sending a text-based communication if the
person reads, selects, or enters a telephone number or name in an
electronic wireless communications device for the purpose of making
or receiving a telephone call.
(remember you must use a handsfree device during the actual call CVC 23123)

( PENALTY )
(d) A violation of this section is an infraction punishable by a
base fine of twenty dollars ($20) for a first offense and fifty
dollars ($50) for each subsequent offense.
